Sanctioned Securities Monitoring Service
Identify sanctioned domiciles, entities and all their issued securities to avoid significant fines.
SIX has received the “Best Compliance Solution” award for the second year in a row. This time, SIX has been awarded for its innovative sanctions service, which offers extensive coverage of national and international sanctions lists as well as access to the SIX universe of instrument and legal entity data. The service enables financial institutions to keep up to date with which securities and regimes are affected by global sanctions in a transparent and efficient way. The award was accepted by Tamsin Hobley, Sales Director UK and Ireland, at the event in London, on Wednesday, 6 July 2016.
Winners of the Systems in the City Awards are chosen each year by financial institutions themselves. Following an open voting process, the short-listed nominees are then assessed by an independent panel that meticulously checks data and product references.
“Complying with sanctions against different countries and individuals represents a major challenge for financial institutions. By providing them with comprehensive lists that are updated daily, we help banks keep on top of the complexity of tracing sanctioned individuals, securities and regimes, and therefore avoid significant fines. Our comprehensive service also simplifies the processing of information and frees internal resources to tackle other compliance priorities,” says Tamsin Hobley.
This is the sixth time that SIX Financial Information has won a Systems in the City award. Over the past few years, SIX Financial Information has also been presented with awards including ‘Best Data Innovation’ award for FundsFast, ‘Best Corporate Actions Solution’ and ‘Best Data Feed Provider.
